Hamlet Home Owners Association Meeting

Held on January, 27, 2010

In attendance: President David Bull, Treasurer Larry Rose, acting Assistant Treasurer Michael Haxton, and acting Secretary Sara Haxton.

Meeting was called to order at 6:32pm.

1. Welcome

a. The President led us in a moment of silence to pay respect for the victims of the Haitian earthquake.

2. April 20^th Meeting

a. Darryl Scott is expected to speak at this meeting.

b. Terminix is also expected to speak to the members at this meeting.

c. Planning for refreshments for this meeting is in the works to encourage attendance.

3. Club House Electrical Problem

a. A problem with the electrical supply developed during the extreme cold weather in December.

i. This problem meant that the clubhouse had only limited lights and no heat risking the pipes.

ii. The cost to repair was more than the cost to replace, and replacing would prevent future problems.

iii. To replace was $1745.

4. Treasurer Report

a. Mailings for the 2010 Assessments have been mailed out.

i. As of the meeting we have receive only 10% of the annual assessments.

ii. In 2009 we only received 68%

iii. Payment arrangements can be made if one is finding it hard to make their payments on time.

iv. The board is hoping to open the pool for the 2010 season but the decision hinges on the amount of assessments the Hamlet receives.

5. Election Committee Status

a. 59 ballots have been returned

b. Counting of the ballots will be held on January 28, 2010

c. Results will be posted at the Hamlet website.
